Children’s Classes

“Children are the most precious treasure a community can posses”

The Children’s Class Program

Children are the most precious treasure that a community has. Based in the belief that “Man is a mine rich in gems of inestimable value” which “Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures and enable mankind to benefit therefrom”, the aim of the children’s class is to help children aged 5-10 develop moral and spiritual qualities such as love, truthfulness, and honesty so that they can be selfless active contributors to the well-being of their communities as they grow older. Teachers foster these qualities in their classes through prayers, stories, games, the arts, as well as through forming meaningful friendships with every child. Additionally, teachers form close, collaborative relationships with parents, with each supporting the other in their efforts to contribute to the spiritual growth of every child in their community.

Children’s Camps

Throughout the year, especially during winter and summer breaks, afternoon Children’s class camps are held at the Triangle Baha’i Institute where children from across the Triangle gather to learn, create, and play together. Children do not have to be in a weekly class to attend these camps, which are free for all participants.
